The City of New York spends up to $17 billion per year on goods and services. Getting certified as a Minority and/or Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) will help you compete for these opportunities and access exclusive programs to help your small business grow. More than 5,000 businesses currently benefit from New York City certification, and the de Blasio administration is committed to:
• Awarding $16 billion in City contracts to M/WBEs by 2025 • Awarding 30 percent of the value of City contracts to M/WBEs by 2021 • Increasing the number of Citycertified M/WBEs to 9,000 by 2019
Join us for an information session with the Queens Economic Development Corporation and Flushing BID to learn how to apply for certification and access free programs and services for your business.
Friday July 21, 2017 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel 135-20 39th Avenue Flushing, NY 11354
